How to Start Crypto Unicorns Gaming Adventure
So, How are you going to raise some NFT unicorns? First, you need to go to the Crypto Unicorns website to load up the game. The game is based on the Polygon blockchain due to the high gas fee of the Ethereum chain. However, this game’s ecosystem is supported by two ERC20 tokens called Rainbow ($RBW) and Unicorn Milk ($UNIM).
To begin playing Crypto Unicorns, you’ll need a crypto wallet like Metamask holding some MATIC, WETH, RBW, and UNIM tokens. As it is a browser game, you can play it on popular web browsers that support OpenGL 2.0.
Types of NFTs in Crypto Unicorns

Farming
Farming is designed to be a core gameplay loop in this game. Players are required to build farms and other establishments on the land they own. Berries are one of the fundamental resources of Crypto Unicorns. They are the source of energy for many types of unicorns as well as an essential ingredient for crafting and breeding.
Crafting

Crypto Unicorns Breeding
It is one of the most important aspects of the game because it lets you create new unicorns by breeding your existing ones. Each unicorn is unique, and primarily, the game launched with 10,000 Genesis eggs, where the first unicorns were born. And they were bred to create more NFT unicorns.
With the help of breeding, each player is able to increase the population of their magical creatures. You will need a decent brood of horses to run all the processes in your farm plots, workshop, or carts.
Jousting
It is in the Battle Royale mode of this game that Unicorns compete. A PvP-based tournament with 16 or 32 players tries to win the match. Developers are planning to add more slots in the future. Players are sorted by how well they do in the tournament and get prizes based on their rank.

The Rainbow Marketplace is built as an automated market maker, or AMM, that has similar functionalities to a DEX, or Decentralized Exchange, like UniSwap. Since this works as an AMM, each item available is going to have a separate liquidity pool where it is paired with $RBW.

Farming is the heart of the game. You plant seeds, and they grow into berries. Then you collect those berries and get tokens at the market. The amount of berries you get depends on a few things, like the land next to yours and how upgraded your Farm is. Unicorns are important in farming too; they can help on the farm and make the harvest better.
Other modes outside farming are also available, and they don’t require land NFT to start with. Like jousting or racing. Three layers of gameplay are implemented in the game: core, midcore, and casual.
One cool thing in Crypto Unicorns is that you can make buildings, like the Farm, even better. As you keep playing, you can connect up to nine pieces of land in a 3×3 square. This helps you farm and do other stuff even better.
